



GVSTK is state level NGO became registered during the year 1994 under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958. It also came into existence in same year 1994 under the decentralization process of URMUL Trust of Bikaner (Rajasthan). It was formed as sub organization of URMUL trust under guidance of Late Sh. Sanjoy Ghose. At initial level organization concentrated its activities for livelihood and education for disadvantaged children especially child labor engaged in carpet weaving at household unit in villages. Further, by improving the livelihoods it appeared as immediate need in front of the organization due to drought in the starting years.
Grameen Vikas Sodh Avam Takniki Kendra was formed as sub organization of URMUL trust under guidance of Late Sh. Sanjoy Ghose. Later, organization started addressing other issues related to livelihoods and education directly or indirectly viz NRM, Panchayati Raj (Local Rural Governance), Children’s and Women’s Health.
